Too much? for sure! Now... why am I still sort of full of anxiety and also sleepy?

Because caffeine keeps your heart beating but it doesn’t keep your mind awake. Your brain needs the rest, but your body won’t let it sleep. It kind of sucks.

If you’re still sleepy that means you just haven’t had enough coffee yet*

I had six coffees before noon today.

What you need is Ritalin or some sort of amphetamine that increases your brain’s dopamine levels with your coffee.
Of course that only does so much, you also need something to increase your brain’s receptivity of dopamine. This is why it always pays to have friends in experimental pharmacology or barring that, organic chemistry.

I’m not sure I’m needy enough for adderall.
Though I must confess, if I did use it, I’d probably be a straight-A student.

I once fell asleep before the caffeine had time to work....it was strange to say the least.

I have no idea, not a coffee drinker. However, I will say that the 100th cup of coffee scene is a tremendous piece of animation:

If you have time, try to take a 15-20 minute nap after drinking coffee, it’ll feel like you got 8 hours of sleep... for a couple hours.

I usually have 15-18 cups per day. It’s the only way I stay on task
